Oscar Fernando Perez is an experienced packaging engineer with a robust background in the development of recyclable and specialized packaging solutions. Currently employed at Consolidated Packaging Group since July 2022, Oscar focuses on materials procurement and validation. Previously, Oscar served as a Technical Director, optimizing multilayered films design and manufacturing processes. With a strong foundation in consulting and international trade as a Senior Engineer at Top Notch Consulting, Oscar also specialized in packaging film design and raw materials testing at ALICO S.A. Additionally, research capabilities were developed as a Laboratory Technologist at Universidad de Antioquia, supporting BIOGLASS manufacturing techniques. Oscar holds a degree in Materials Engineering from Antioquia University, emphasizing polymers and composites.

For almost 50 years, Consolidated Packaging Group (CPG) has been one of the nation's leading manufacturers of flexible packaging. From our modest beginnings with (2) six color stack presses and (4) Sheldahl bagging machines, CPG has grown into a full service flexible packaging company and is one of the largest manufacturers of Inno-lok pre-zippered film. CPG specializes in manufacturing a wide array of products, such as Stand Up pouches, Quad Seal pouches, Inno-Lok® pre-zippered film and Zip360® pre-zippered films. We also produce laminated rollstock of all film structures, some of which can be modified for microwave use via our Preco laser processing system. Our new SQF Level 2 Certified 117,000 sq. ft. facility in Ridgefield Park, NJ is rated as AIB Superior and houses new 10 color HD wide-web printing presses. Everything we do, from HD printing to lamination to converting to slitting, is done in-house in 2 Weeks or Less.
