Gowri Shankar

Gowri Shankar is an accomplished expert in metallurgy and materials science with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as a Technical Advisor to the CEO at Consolidated Precision Products Corp since May 2015, Gowri has previously held significant positions including Director of Casting Technology at Chromalloy Gas Turbines and Fellow at Pratt and Whitney, United Technologies. With a notable career starting as an Engineering Manager at PCC Airfoils, Gowri specializes in the technical and strategic aspects of advanced directionally solidified and single crystal cast turbine blades and vanes. Gowri holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Case Western Reserve University and a B. Tech in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
