Lisette Rodrigues has been working as a School Social Worker at New Britain Board of Education since September 2002. Prior to that, Lisette held a similar position at New Haven Board of Education. Lisette also worked as a Social Worker at Child Guidance Clinic in Meriden, CT. The role of the Board of Education is to institute policies, allocate funds (adopt and monitor the school district's budget), monitor student achievement, and be an education advocate and liasion with the public and other government/community agencies and elected officials in conjunction with the Superintendent.
