New Britain Board of Education
Nalini Munshi is an experienced teacher currently working at New Britain Board of Education since January 2003. In the past, Munshi has taught at Immersion Learning from 2008 to 2011, KV Jabalpur in 2002, and Army School Akhnoor from 1998 to 2000. With a background in Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, Munshi holds a Ph.D. and Master's degree from Kanpur University and DAV College Kanpur UP India. At New Britain Board of Education, Munshi is the lead teacher in the STEM Academy and has organized various educational programs such as Science Olympiad, Immersion program, MRIA, Ocean Exploration, and BEST Robotics. Additionally, Munshi has conducted Science clubs and taught Chemistry to students in various grade levels throughout their career.

The role of the Board of Education is to institute policies, allocate funds (adopt and monitor the school district's budget), monitor student achievement, and be an education advocate and liasion with the public and other government/community agencies and elected officials in conjunction with the Superintendent.
