David Stangel

David is invigorated by new challenges—a trait that has helped him lead their Water services group to tremendous success over the last 15 years. With a BS in Geography and a MS in Water Resource Engineering from Oregon State University, David brings nearly three decades of experience providing highly specialized sewer and water modeling and planning expertise to clients across the United States and abroad. David has been involved with more than 100 such projects as project manager, senior reviewer, and project engineer during his career, leveraging his expertise in hydraulic modeling and GIS applications to advise utilities on methods to ensure the ongoing maintenance of both their hydraulic models and GIS databases.

When David isn’t mentoring the next cohort of leaders in the water industry or staying on the cutting edge of new modeling technologies, he’s likely to be found with his nose buried in a history book, fishing, or otherwise exploring the beautiful outdoors with his family.
