Laura Geringer has worked in various roles since 2008. Laura began their career at Northwestern University as a Graduate Intern in the Undergraduate Learning Abroad Office, and then held various roles in the Digital Media Specialist department, including Digital Media Specialist Video Lead, Digital Media Specialist, Digital Media Specialist Associate, Video Specialist, Telescope Operator and Observing Session Host, Student Video Specialist, Equipment Cage Technician, and Customer Service & Computer Assistant. In 2011, they were Production Co-Chair for Northwestern University Dance Marathon, where they produced a 30-hour, 1000+ student philanthropic fundraiser and managed an event budget of tens of thousands of dollars. In 2018, they worked as a Communications & Research Associate for SAB Creative & Consulting and a Communication Coordinator for the Council on International Higher Education at the Association for the Study of Higher Education. In 2019, they were Creative & Experience Strategist for the University Technology Office at Arizona State University, Project Director and Community + Project Manager for Driving K-12 Innovation at Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), and Owner, Program & Experience Designer, & Creative Maker for PumpkinBerry Consulting / Cocreate Higher Education Consulting, LLC.

Laura Geringer received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern University in 2012. Laura also participated in a Study Abroad Program through the University of Minnesota in 2010. In 2016, they obtained their Master of Education - MEd in International Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago. Additionally, they were awarded a Diploma of French Language Studies, DELF B2 Level (Advanced Independent User) from the French Ministry of Education in December 2015.
