James Redd is an experienced Systems Administrator with a robust background in supporting and maintaining critical business systems across various industries. Currently at Consortium Health Plans since January 2021, James focuses on system support and project collaboration. Previously, James served at WillScot starting in February 2016, managing VMware environments, storage solutions, and disaster recovery initiatives. At Johns Hopkins HealthCare from September 2007 to March 2016, James optimized datacenter resources, conducted disaster recovery exercises, and provided technical recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Earlier roles included positions at Fieldstone Mortgage and the Department of Justice, further establishing a strong foundation in systems administration and IT support.

Consortium Health Plans was formed in 1994 to help its founding Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans position themselves as the preferred choice for national accounts. Now a national coalition of 20 leading BCBS Plans, Consortium provides a clear and unified voice, as well as effective central coordination, for the Blue System among national accounts and the consultants and brokers who serve them. Mission: Consortium Health Plans' mission is to position Blue Cross Blue Shield as the preferred choice for national accounts. Vision: Consortium Health Plans will be a key enabler of BCBS Plans’ strategies to meet the healthcare needs of National Account employers.
