David Phippen

David Phippen is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP since March 2005, specializing in management labor and employment law, as well as cybersecurity and data breach defense litigation. Phippen has extensive expertise in counseling, litigation, arbitration, and defense regarding various employment law issues, non-compete agreements, class actions, and investigations by the DOL and EEOC. Prior to this role, Phippen was Counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP from February 1986 to March 2005, focusing on similar areas of law, along with insurance coverage representation. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP and a Law Clerk for the Hon. A. Christian Comption at the Supreme Court of Virginia.
