Jelle ter Laak has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1996, they started their career as a trainee at ABN AMRO and stayed with the company until 2000. Jelle then joined ABN AMRO again in 2005 and held the positions of Global head of Functional Support and Data Management, and later COO Norway until 2008.
From 2008 to 2016, Jelle worked at Alfred Berg in various roles, including Nordic Head of Operations Strategy and COO Alfred Berg Norway, Nordic head of Marketing and Product Development, and Programme Manager Polaris. During this time, they focused on defining target operating models and sourcing strategies for operations and integrating Alfred Berg with BNP Paribas Investment Partners.
In 2017, Jelle joined Alfred Berg Kapitalforvaltning as the COO of Norway. Jelle led substantial organizational changes and oversaw the insourcing of outsourced activities to improve cost, efficiency, and time-to-market. Jelle also created a new IT and Operations organization and an adjusted target operating model to enhance alignment and collaboration within the local organization.
In 2018, Jelle moved to Anthos Fund & Asset Management B.V. as the Head of Operations, where they served until 2022.
Currently, Jelle is the Head of Operations and Technology at Constanter Philanthropy Services, a position they have held since April 2022.
Jelle ter Laak completed their International Baccalaureate at UWCSEA from 1987 to 1989. Following that, they pursued a degree in Economics at the University of Amsterdam from 1989 to 1995, earning the degree of "drs." Before their university education, Jelle attended Vossius Gymnasium from 1983 to 1987.
