Corey Smith

Corey Smith possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving in various capacities at Constellation since June 2010, focusing on strategy development for both commercial and generation businesses. This role includes creating regional strategy assessments and executing plans for growth through both organic means and acquisitions. Prior to this, Corey valued and structured power transactions across multiple U.S. power markets and performed financial valuations for power plant transactions. Experience also includes a tenure as an MBA Associate at E2 Capital Partners, where support was provided for the development of a startup investment fund targeting renewable energy projects. Earlier roles at GE involved overseeing operations at a major chemical plant and implementing process improvements, highlighted by participation in a leadership rotational program. Corey holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
