Karl Hachmuth

Karl Hachmuth currently serves as a Senior Staff Fuels Engineer at Constellation, focusing on fuel reliability since February 2022. Prior to this role, Karl worked at Exelon Nuclear from June 2008 to February 2022, holding positions such as Principal Reactor Engineer and Reactor Engineering Manager. In these roles, Karl provided oversight on technical products, facilitated alignment and knowledge sharing among reactor engineering teams, and managed a team of reactor engineers on various initiatives related to reactivity maneuvers and core monitoring. Karl also acted as the site point of contact for industry initiatives, contributed to core component strategies, and achieved significant process improvements in reactor engineering operations. Karl obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2008.
