Maurice Simpson

Maurice Simpson, Jr., JD, is an experienced professional in government and regulatory affairs, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Constellation since February 2022. Prior to this role, Maurice held the position of State Government Affairs Manager at Exelon from September 2019 to February 2022 and served as the Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs Manager for the Prince George's County Council from March 2012 to August 2019. In these roles, Maurice managed legislative and regulatory processes, conducted comprehensive legal and policy analyses, and facilitated relationships with key legislators and agencies. Maurice's experience includes a position as a Research/Legislative Affairs Assistant at the United States Sentencing Commission and as a Legislative Assistant for the Georgia House of Representatives. Maurice holds a Juris Doctor degree in Litigation and Advocacy from the University of Baltimore School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University.
