Stephen Wilson

Stephen Wilson has over 30 years of experience in the information security and technology field. Stephen began their career in 1988 as a Software Development Manager at Telectronics, where they led the Pacemaker Software Development Department in Denver, Colorado. In 1995, they moved to Security Domain as a Software Development Manager, where they led a team of 15-20 software engineers developing unique security products. In 1997, they joined KPMG as an Associate Director, helping to establish the firm's Certification Authority in Melbourne. In 1999, they became a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers beTRUSTed, where they were a member of the Global Core Management Team. In 2001, they joined SecureNet Limited as Chief Security Specialist, leading the Identity Management consulting team. In 2004, they became Managing Director at Lockstep Consulting Australia, and in 2006 they took on the same role at Lockstep Technologies. In 2013, they joined Constellation Research as Vice President and Principal Analyst, and in 2014 they became Information Security Advisor and Chief Information Security Officer at SendGold. In 2018, they co-founded ValidIDy.

Stephen Wilson attended The University of Queensland, where they earned a BSc BE Elec degree in Physics, Computer Science, and Digital Electronics.
