Karen Albert

Karen Albert has a comprehensive work experience in the field of internal audit and control. Karen is currently working as the Vice President & Head of Internal Audit and Internal Control at Constellium since April 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at W. R. Grace & Co., including Senior Director of Internal Audit, Chief Audit Executive, and Director of Internal Audit, where they led and managed the Global Internal Audit Function. Karen also served as a Board Member at IIA Baltimore Chapter from 2000 to 2015. Karen started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they worked as a Director of Risk Assurance, delivering internal audit services to clients in healthcare and other industries. Karen also held roles as Manager and Senior Associate during their time at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Early in their career, they worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Mercantile Bankshares Corp. from 2000 to 2004. Karen has a strong background in internal audit and is experienced in delivering audit and control services to clients across various industries.

Karen Albert, CIA, CRMA completed their Master of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from California State University, Bakersfield from 1990 to 1993.
