Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational technologies. Since July 2010, Chris has worked at SMART Technologies, initially as a firmware engineer and currently as an electrical engineer, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior experience includes serving as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, as well as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, providing support in electronic circuits courses. Chris also has a background as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, contributing to control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
