Steven Jacobs

Steven Jacobs is a Founding Partner at Drumbeat Capital, a Seed Stage Deep Tech venture capital firm bridging the US and Europe, since June 2025. Currently, Steven also serves as an Investor and Board Member for multiple companies, including Constellr, which focuses on crop water monitoring for global food security; Lightium AG, a Swiss startup that offers advanced photonic integrated circuit services; and Carv, a ski technology company. Previously, Steven was a Partner and Chief Product Officer at Lakestar, where Steven specialized in deep tech investments, and has held advisory roles at First Round Fast Track, mentoring early-stage company executives. Steven holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
