Tianran Zhang, Ph.D., is a Remote Sensing Processing Engineer at constellr, contributing to method development and the implementation of processing pipeline infrastructure and higher-level product processors since December 2022. Prior to this role, Tianran served as R&D Lead and Thermal Remote Sensing Scientist at Satellite Vu, where responsibilities included leading a team of scientists and developing key modules for data processing. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Associate at King's College London, where Tianran led the development of the Copernicus Global Fire Assimilation System and was involved in various remote sensing data processing projects. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geography from King's College London and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Ocean University of China.
