Jennifer Estremera, a founder and Deputy Managing Partner of the firm, is a trial lawyer with over a decade of experience in high-exposure commercial and intellectual property cases in federal and state courts across the country. Jennifer is known for her ability to organize and manage large-scale, complex cases as well as her authentic practice style, stemming from small-town roots, which provides a unique perspective in connecting with jurors.
Jennifer ranks among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America and as a “Future Star” by Benchmark Litigation for intellectual property litigation. Representing clients in a wide range of cases, Jennifer’s work involves trade secrets, commercial transactions, patents, trademarks, false advertising, energy and environmental issues, constitutional violations, consumer class actions, product liability and personal injury, and securities claims in FINRA arbitration. In addition, she has represented clients in pro bono cases including insurance, consumer protection, housing, and immigration.
Jennifer played a key role in helping the firm secure a $237 million jury willful infringement verdict for Densify against VMware following a nine-day patent trial in the District of Delaware in a case involving complex virtualization technology. The verdict was recognized in The National Law Journal's 2021 "Verdicts Hall of Fame" (7th largest verdict in past five years) and 2020 “Top 100 Verdicts” (8th largest verdict in the U.S.).
Jennifer served as a clerk to Hon. Edward J. Davila of the U.S. District Court Northern District of California. Jennifer is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List, was an Honors Moot Court Finalist, and received the merit-based Emery Scholarship and the Witkin Award in Legal Research and Writing. During law school she also served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
