Sherry Shi currently serves as the Declamation Event Leader at the National Speech & Debate Association, where responsibilities include leading practices and coaching over 70 members, and notable achievements include being an Academic All-American and a National Qualifier in Dramatic Interpretation. As the Mock Trial Team Captain for the Constitutional Rights Foundation, Sherry led two teams to county quarterfinals and organized team activities. Sherry received a full scholarship to Stanford's Intensive Law and Trial Program, studying legal practices under Stanford Law professors. Additional involvement includes serving as a Diversity and Inclusion Student Representative for the San Gabriel Unified School District and interning with Stop AAPI Hate, where Sherry developed Ethnic Studies curriculum and conducted interviews to assess Ethnic Studies knowledge among AAPI youth. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at UCLA, Sherry is expected to graduate in 2028, following a high school diploma from Gabrielino High School in 2024.
