Craig Kane

Craig Kane serves as the Training & Competence Manager for CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) in the UK since July 2015, overseeing all training and competence-related activities. Previous roles at CAF include Technical Trainer/Assessor and Fleet Maintenance Engineer, where responsibilities included managing maintenance documentation and compliance auditing for the Northern Ireland Railways Class 4000 fleet. Prior experience includes serving as Process Manager at Forensic Science Northern Ireland, focused on laboratory management and process improvements, and various engineering technician roles within the Royal Air Force, which encompassed avionics maintenance, training delivery, and equipment repair. Craig Kane holds a CTTLS in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching, with education from the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering and St Columba's High School.
