Amy Hoffenberg

Amy Hoffenberg is a skilled Learning Designer with extensive experience in designing and developing educational programs, currently working at Construct: An OES Company since July 2025. Prior positions include Learning Design Specialist for Environmental Science at Learning Sandbox and Learning Designer roles at Apolitical and 2U, where notable projects involved curriculum development for an online course on women's leadership and localization efforts for multilingual course delivery. Prior to transitioning into educational design, Amy held research assistant positions at the South African National Biodiversity Institute, where work focused on biological invasions and threatened species. Amy holds a Master of Science in Conservation Biology, an Honours degree in Biological Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology and Genetics from the University of Cape Town.
