Sharon Slinger

Sharon Slinger is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in diversity and inclusion, project management, and quantity surveying. As the Founder and Director of Constructing Rainbows Limited since November 2017, Slinger provides strategic advice and training to enhance equity and performance within organizations. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member for the UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum and Chair of the Board of Directors for STEER Support & Mentoring CIC, Slinger focuses on promoting diversity and supporting undergraduates in the built environment sector. Previous roles include Global Co-Chair of Connect at Carillion, where efforts were made towards creating an inclusive workplace for the LGBT community, and significant contributions as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for various major projects. Slinger holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University and has furthered professional development through involvement in governance programs and community initiatives.
