David Good

David Good is currently an advisor at OpenMind. Prior to that, they were with On Deck, UC Berkeley Executive Education, Good Consulting, and Kenzie Academy. David was the associate vice president of product at Kenzie Academy from March 2021 to September 2021.

At Kenzie Academy, David delivered five consumer-facing products, including the application process, learning experience, onboarding, student support, and job placement. David improved student pre-start drops by 80% and first month drops by 70% through the student onboarding experience product. David also decreased time-to-close and reduced admissions touchpoints by launching a self-serve application process. David reduced student drops by 22% via building free introductory courses product. David scaled average academic cohort size from 12 to 100+ over three years through expanding and integrating admissions, student management, and placement toolsets.

As the associate vice president of product at Kenzie Academy, David collaborated with executive team on near- and long-term company strategy and translated it into product roadmap, taking a holistic approach to product to include service layers and outcomes. Additionally, they managed the product and engineering teams.

David Good has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley - Walter A. Haas School of Business in Business Administration and Management, General. David also has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Pomona College. Additionally, they have a Full-stack web development certificate from Lighthouse Labs and a certification in Front End Web Development from General Assembly.
