Nava Friedman

Nava Friedman is currently an advisor at OpenMind and has been in the role since May of 2022. Prior to that, they were a product lead at Emergent Works from May to August of 2022. From January 2021 to February of 2022, Nava was a Catalyst Cohort Member at Robin Hood, receiving financial support and resources to help build out Karen's Club - a tech-enabled solution to help advanced cancer patients of color explore clinical trials. Prior to Robin Hood, Nava spent two years as the Senior Director of Product Strategy and Innovation at Catchafire, where they founded the department responsible for researching and testing product innovations and strategic product partnerships. Nava has also held positions as a Technical Writer at Plan International and as a Program Assistant at World Faiths Development Dialogue. In 2012, they completed a Rural Innovations and Farming Internship at Ashoka.

Nava Friedman has a Bachelor's degree in Religion and African Studies from Princeton University. Nava also has a certification from edX in edX Honor Code Certificate for Evaluating Social Programs.
