Karen Lawson

Karen Lawson has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in senior leadership roles. Karen began their career in 1987 as a Sr NHA at HCR ManorCare Heartland of Charleston, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they served as the NHA/Executive Director at American Sr Communities- Eagle Pointe. Karen then joined Marietta Care and Rehabilitation in 2008 as an NHA before moving on to Sun Healthcare Group in 2009. At Sun Healthcare Group, they held the positions of Regional Director of Clinical Operations from 2009 to 2010 and Regional Vice President of Operations from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Diversicare Healthcare Services Inc. as the Regional CQI Director and Interim Administrator. Most recently, they have been working as the Regional VP of Operations at Consulate Management Company since 2013.

Karen Lawson has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Social Work from West Virginia University.
