Yasin Mire Mohamud Mohamud currently serves as the Vice Minister of Planning & International Cooperation for Puntland State of Somalia since February 2019, and also holds the position of Puntland MSCC Focal Point for Somalia since July 2018. In addition, Yasin has been the elected Mayor of Bosaso, a key commercial hub, since September 2015, and previously served as a site engineer for Consultant Connect from July 2014. Yasin's experience includes a tenure as site manager at Mareero Construction Company and as a national engineer at the Invest in Puntland Agency. From 2003 to 2007, Yasin worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Mareero Spare Parts. Yasin holds an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from University Technology Malaysia and a Diploma in Human Resource Management.
