David Smith

David Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. David is currently the Director of Global Operations - Consultiv Corporate at Consultiv Utilities Ltd since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Tradition Energy as a Manager, European Accounts from 2018 to 2022, where they managed energy price risk exposure for industrial and commercial companies and developed risk management strategies. David also served as a Senior Energy Adviser at Tradition Energy from 2018 to 2019. Before that, David worked at Utilitywise Corporate Division as a Business Development Manager from 2014 to 2017, where they developed strong relationships with major energy users. David started their career at ScottishPower, where they worked in various roles from 2005 to 2014, including Strategic Account Executive, Team Coach, SME Customer Sales & Service, SME Customer Care Advisor, and SME Customer Sales & Service Advisor.

David Smith attended Stranraer Academy from 1998 to 2003, but did not obtain a degree or pursue any specific field of study.
