Jacqueline Watkins is an experienced professional in the field of community development and Aboriginal health, currently serving as the First Nations Engagement Lead at Consumer Action Law Centre since October 2022. Prior to this, Jacqueline held the position of Dhelk Dja Regional Coordinator at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing from December 2020 to October 2022, where the focus was on community-led initiatives to address family violence in Aboriginal communities. Jacqueline's leadership experience includes serving as the Acting Chief Executive Officer at Tennant Creek Women's Refuge and a managerial role in Aboriginal Health Policy and Planning at Western Health. Jacqueline's academic background includes a Diploma in Community Development from Swinburne University of Technology, and recent studies at TAFE NSW in mid-2023.
