Catherine Carey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Catherine is currently the Head of Consumer Strategy at Consumer Intelligence, where they lead the development of the company's consumer research product portfolio. Prior to this, Catherine served as the Interim Marketing Director, covering maternity leave and successfully executing strategies to maximize brand visibility and launch new products. Catherine also held the position of PR and Communications Manager at Consumer Intelligence, playing a pivotal role in building brand awareness and spearheading the company's first webinar series.
In addition to their roles at Consumer Intelligence, Catherine co-founded Duotog, a photography business, and served as a trustee for Different Strokes Charity, focusing on marketing and communications. Catherine also worked as the Research and Improvement Communications Manager at Solent NHS Trust and as a Communications and Engagement Officer at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. Catherine had a secondment as a Communications and Engagement Officer at the Brighterway Charity.
Before their roles in the healthcare sector, Catherine worked as a Communications Assistant at Compass Group UK & Ireland and as a Membership Officer at Solent NHS Trust. Catherine started their career as an Editor at Winchester News Online, a community news service, and gained experience as bar staff at O'Neill's Irish Pub.
Catherine Carey began their education at St. Anne's Catholic School from 2001 to 2006. Catherine then pursued higher education at the University of Winchester from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (hons) degree in Multimedia Journalism. Their field of study focused on the field of Journalism.
