Jessica Walker

Jessica Walker possesses extensive experience in communications and advocacy, currently serving as the acting head of research and advocacy at Consumer NZ since July 2022. Prior roles include Communications and Campaigns Manager and Senior Communications and Campaigns Advisor at the same organization. Walker's experience also includes positions as Communications Advisor at the Electricity Authority, and a variety of roles at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, including Communications Advisor, Senior Business Advisor, and Executive Assistant. Earlier career highlights feature serving in the Education Review Office and Democratic Services at Huntingdonshire District Council. Jessica Walker began their career as Regional Clubs Editor at the Press Association. Educational qualifications include a post graduate diploma in Management Studies from Anglia Ruskin University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Hull.
