Benjamin Mordecai is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a career spanning over a decade in various roles. Currently serving at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission since March 2015, Benjamin has previously worked at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division from January 2008 to March 2015, where responsibilities included developing test planning documents and executing tests focused on safety and efficiency. Benjamin's early experience includes an internship at the Army Research Laboratory in 2007, where design and testing of pressure transducers and mortars were performed. Additional research experience was gained at the Georgia Tech Research Institute in 2006, testing solar cell efficiencies. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, as well as two Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Georgia.
