Currently serving at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission since May 2016, John specializes in assessing health risks associated with hazardous substances and provides scientific support across various offices. Previous roles include toxicologist at The Tauri Group, where John contributed to chemical and biological defense initiatives, and bioanalytical project manager at BioAgilytix Labs, overseeing assay development and project management. Additional experience encompasses program management and lead toxicologist roles at Alion Science and Technology, along with research leadership positions at Xenobiotic Detection Systems and various cancer research institutions. John holds a Ph.D. in Biochemical Genetics from West Virginia University.
