Pamela Rucker Springs

Pamela Rucker Springs has a diverse and extensive work experience in communications and public affairs. Pamela currently serves as the Director of the Office of Communications at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, where they develop strategic communication plans to promote product safety. Prior to this role, they were the Vice President of Communications at United Way Worldwide, overseeing enterprise communications. Pamela also has experience as an Independent Communications Consultant, leading strategic communication efforts for Africare and working on various projects for clients. Pamela has held leadership positions at organizations such as the General Pharmaceutical Council, National Urban League Washington Bureau, AOL, Inc., Discovery Communications, National Retail Federation, and the United States Senate. Pamela'sroles at these organizations involved managing corporate communications, media relations, crisis communications, and policy advocacy. Throughout their career, Pamela has demonstrated expertise in shaping narratives and promoting missions to advance social causes and public welfare.
