Delicia Reynolds Hand has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Currently, they are the Director of Financial Fairness at Consumer Reports, where they lead efforts to promote a fair and just marketplace for consumers. Prior to this, Delicia worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in several leadership positions, including Deputy Associate Director and Acting Associate Director of Consumer Education and External Affairs. Delicia was responsible for managing stakeholders, developing strategic plans, and overseeing policy communications. Before joining the Bureau, Delicia served as the Legislative Director at the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Delicia also gained experience as the Director of Organizational Initiatives & General Counsel at the Center for Community Change. Delicia's earlier career includes roles as Senior Counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives, Staff Attorney at Casa de Maryland, Inc., and Attorney at Just Neighbors Inc. Delicia began their career as a Clerk to the Chief Administrative Law Judge at the U.S. Department of Labor.

Delicia Reynolds Hand received their BA degree in Politics and Sociology from Saint Peter's University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Delicia then pursued further education at the University of Cambridge from 1999 to 2001, earning an MA degree in International Development and Politics. Lastly, they attended American University Washington College of Law from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained their JD degree in law.
