Associate Director, Omni-channel Marketing Operations at Consumer Reports

Robert McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert'smost recent role is as the Associate Director of Omni-Channel Marketing Operations at Consumer Reports, starting in March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) from 2007 to 2021, where they held various positions such as Manager of Email Marketing, Digital and Manager of Email Marketing & E-Commerce, Membership & Data. Robert has managed teams, led migration projects, and built relationships with vendors and partners. McCarthy has also contributed to the launch of successful gaming titles.

Robert McCarthy graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Philosophy. In 2004, they completed a Certificate program in Digital Multimedia and Web Design from Skidmore College CCI. In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained the following:

- In February 2008, they completed the "Comprehensive Email Marketing Strategies" course from the Direct Marketing Association (now ANA.net).

- In June 2009, they obtained the "Direct Marketing Institute" certification from the Direct Marketing Association (now ANA.net).

- In March 2018, they acquired the "Email Marketing" certification from HubSpot Academy.

- In August 2018, Robert completed the "Design & Orchestrate Marketing Campaigns using Adobe Campaign Standard" certification from Adobe.

- In October 2021, they obtained certifications in "Direct Mail Marketing" and "Diversity, and Inclusion in Marketing: Inclusive Language for Marketers" from LinkedIn.

- In May 2022, they completed the "Quick Start Guide to SQL" certification from LinkedIn.
