Jennifer Partlan

Jennifer Partlan, PMP, currently serves as the Director of Engineering for LVD Planning at Consumers Energy, managing a team of circuit planners responsible for the Low Voltage Distribution System in several Michigan regions. With a career that spans over two decades, roles include Engineer Manager and Work Methods and Field Tools Manager, overseeing capacity management, customer complaint resolution, and substation upgrades. Prior experience includes positions at General Motors, General Dynamics Land Systems, and Jacobs Engineering, where expertise was developed in electrical engineering, systems integration, and project coordination. Jennifer is also actively involved in outreach efforts through the Society of Women Engineers, promoting engineering education among youth. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Oakland University.
