Jeremy Bonkowski

Jeremy Bonkowski is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical design and operational planning. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Engineering for Gas Transmission Operations Planning at Consumers Energy since May 2021, Jeremy leads a diverse team to achieve gas cost recovery targets and provides expertise on gas flow deliverability metrics. Previously, Jeremy worked at Nexteer Automotive in various engineering roles from September 2013 to May 2021, focusing on steer by wire mechanical design and product engineering, with significant contributions to the development of steering column designs and successful product launches across North America and Asia. Jeremy holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Design from Kettering University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saginaw Valley State University.
