Kyle Sawyer

Kyle Sawyer, CPA, MSA, is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as a Senior Accounting Analyst II at Consumers Energy since June 2021. Prior to this role, Kyle worked as a Senior Accountant at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP from October 2016 to June 2021, providing audit, review, and compilation services across various industries, while also assessing the fair value of investment portfolios. Beginning as a Staff Accountant and Audit Intern at the same firm, Kyle developed core auditing skills through hands-on experience. Earlier work experiences include a Personal Lines Underwriting Internship at Auto-Owners Insurance and various customer service roles. Kyle holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, both from Michigan State University.
