Melissa Sherman

Melissa Sherman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality improvement, lean methodologies, and education. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Lean Consortium, Melissa engages in strategic planning and events aimed at fostering lean thinking across Michigan. At Consumers Energy, Melissa holds the position of Senior Quality Improvement Consultant, where responsibilities include coaching partners in lean and change management, analyzing business processes, and driving sustainable improvements. In addition to practical experience, Melissa has contributed to academia as an adjunct instructor at multiple institutions, teaching a diverse range of subjects including entrepreneurship, management, and engineering courses. Melissa possesses a strong educational background with multiple degrees, including an MBA in Leadership Studies and certifications in leadership and project management.
