Elizabeth Deveny serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Consumers Health Forum of Australia since September 2022, advocating for the interests of Australian healthcare consumers. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Chair at the Australian Digital Health Agency from May 2016 to October 2023, where leadership during the pandemic highlighted significant advancements in digital health, including electronic prescribing and enhancements to MyHealthRecord. Additional roles include Special Advisor at the Australian Department of Health, CEO of the South Eastern Melbourne PHN, Chair of the Southern Metropolitan Partnership, and various positions in health organizations focused on primary care and mental health reforms. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine and has completed multiple degrees and programs in health education and organizational leadership from the University of Melbourne and the Australian New Zealand School of Government.
