At Consuming Carbon, we're leading a movement to combat climate change through large-scale bamboo reforestation and sustainable development across Sub-Saharan Africa—starting in Kenya. Our mission is to sequester carbon, restore degraded lands, and empower local communities while delivering real, trackable environmental impact.

We specialize in planting Giant Bamboo in semi-arid and desert-like areas, transforming underutilized land into carbon-absorbing forests. Through strategic partnerships with landowners, communities, and technology providers, we ensure transparency and measurable results using satellite and IoT monitoring.

Here’s how we make a difference:

- Carbon sequestration through fast-growing bamboo forests
- Community development, clean water access, and education
- Fair wages, training, and economic empowerment
- Production of sustainable bamboo products (furniture, textiles, biochar, etc.)
- Transparent reporting for carbon credit buyers in the U.S., EU, and beyond

We share profits with the people who make this work possible:

- % goes directly to local communities
- % stays with landowners
- % sustains and grows our impact

Whether you're an investor, landowner, buyer of carbon credits, or someone who just wants to create positive change—join us. Let’s reforest, reimagine, and regenerate the future together.
