Ali Alfaraj

Ali Alfaraj is an accomplished cybersecurity and data privacy professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity & Data Privacy at upsource by solutions since May 2022, Ali Alfaraj manages and leads the safeguarding of information system assets while addressing potential cyber threats. Prior to this role, Ali Alfaraj worked as an Information Security Manager at the National Bank of Bahrain, overseeing the implementation of the SAMA Cyber Security Framework. Additional experience includes positions as Information Security Risk Manager and Cyber Security Assistant Manager at SABB TAKAFUL, along with roles as IT Analyst and Support Engineer at SABB, and IT Help Desk Consultant at Jeraisy Computers and Communications Services. Ali Alfaraj holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa and a High Diploma in Computer Programming from the Institute of Public Administration in Saudi Arabia.
