Amanda Bell

Amanda Bell is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Tax Manager at Contact Energy Ltd since July 2023. Previously, Amanda held similar positions as Tax Manager at AIA and Origin Energy, and worked as Contract Assurance Manager at Mahitahi Hauora. Amanda has a strong background in tax management and financial accounting, with roles including Group Taxation Manager and Manager of Group Financial Accounting and Taxation at Genesis. Amanda's career began at Inland Revenue NZ as an Investigations Officer, and prior experience includes a Senior Tax Consultant role at PwC and teaching English through the Japan Exchange Teaching Program. Amanda holds a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Management Studies (Hons) from The University of Waikato, along with a secondary education from Whangarei Girls' High School and Ota High School in Japan.
