Kayla Hegedus

Kayla Hegedus is a data science professional currently serving as the Chapter Lead of the Data Science chapter at Contact Energy Ltd since July 2022, where leadership within the Data & AI team is a primary focus. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Data Scientist in the Digital Generation & Trading team at Contact Energy Ltd, optimizing power generation with an emphasis on geothermal stations. Kayla's background also features a significant tenure at Parrot Analytics as a Senior Industry Data Scientist, leveraging extensive audience behavior data sets for media analytics. Earlier experiences include summer research positions at CERN and University College London, where data analysis and simulations were key components.
