Ian Miell

Ian Miell is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in cloud-native consultancy and leadership. Currently serving as CTO and Partner at Container Solutions, Ian excels in sales, strategy, and management while actively participating in recruitment and engineering when possible. Previous roles include VP at State Street, where a bespoke Kubernetes platform was architected, and Lead OpenShift Architect at Barclays, managing global deployment strategies. Ian has also contributed as an instructor on Bash, Linux, and Kubernetes for O'Reilly Media and CoRise. With a strong foundation in DevOps and operations from tenure at OpenBet, Ian holds degrees from the University of Oxford and Birkbeck, University of London.
