Alexander Kern

Alexander Kern is currently the Head of Development at Contargo, where they lead efforts in the digitalization and automation of trimodal logistics. Previously, they held several key roles at Contargo, including Head of Automation and Head of AI and Automation. Alexander also contributed to academic research as a Postdoctoral Research Manager and Research Associate at Technische Universität Darmstadt, after serving as Team Leader of the ASPIRE Research Group at Virginia Tech. Their educational background includes a Doctor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical and Process Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, along with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
