Jenny S.

Jenny S. has over 20 years of experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Systems. Jenny began their career in 2001 as a Failure Analysis Engineer at Gemfire Corporation, where they set up the failure analysis laboratory for semiconductor photonic devices. In 2004, they joined St. Jude Medical as a Senior Design Assurance Engineer, where they led project teams in improving the quality of the specification of products using performance metrics relevant to the device operation. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Principal Quality Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where they were the Quality lead on a global surgery iontophoresis system and supported regulatory audits of the quality system. In 2017, they joined RefleXion Medical as a Principal Design Quality Assurance and set up a Quality Management System. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Quality Manager at Abbott, where they developed effective quality control processes and organizational oversight and management of incoming quality assurance, supplier quality assurance and engineering. Currently, they are the Director of Quality Engineering and Quality Systems at Contego Medical, Inc., where they are the Management Representative and manages and supports company-wide QA goals and objectives.

Jenny S. completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University between 1991 and 1995. Jenny then went on to receive their Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 1996 and 2001. In 2012, they obtained two certifications from St. Jude Medical: Orange Belt Lean Transactional and Manufacturing, and Orange Belt Mistake Proofing.
