Minfen Gu

Minfen Gu has significant work experience in finance and accounting. Minfen is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL) since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at BOHAI TRIMET Automotive Holding GmbH from August 2018 to July 2021. Minfen also worked as a self-employed consultant at Gu + Partner M&A Management Advisory from July 2016 to July 2018. Before that, Minfen held various finance-related roles at FACC AG, Evonik (Degussa) Company Ltd. (Shanghai), and Evonik Industries AG. Minfen started their career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young Audit/Tax Consultant Company (former Arthur Anderson) in December 1999.

Minfen Gu completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Biology at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China from 1981 to 1985. Minfen then pursued a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology at the same institution from 1985 to 1988. Later, they attended Justus Liebig University Giessen from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Diplom-Kauffrau degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
