Misa Jeffereis

Associate Curator at Contemporary Art Museum

Misa Jeffereis is an accomplished art curator with extensive experience in various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as Associate Curator at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis since September 2017, Misa has also worked at the Walker Art Center as Curatorial Assistant and Public Programs Associate, where notable projects included leading the exhibition Lee Kit: Hold your breath, dance slowly and organizing significant curatorial conferences. Prior roles included Public Programs and Research Coordinator at Independent Curators International and various assistant positions at art fairs and galleries, including SculptureCenter and the International Center of Photography. Misa holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Washington.
