Shereen Fischer

Shereen Fischer serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the DEAI Committee at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis since August 2018, while also holding an at-large position on the Executive Board. Since September 2022, Shereen has been working as a fiction writer and is currently writing a second novel titled “The Benefaction.” Prior experience includes serving as a Community Development Volunteer and Co-chair of the Development Executive Board at COCA stl from August 2014 to August 2022. Shereen holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Washington University in St. Louis, obtained between 1998 and 2001, as well as dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in American Studies and African American Studies from Grinnell College, earned from 1993 to 1997.
